We're attempting to be green and to reduce our carbon footprint. We're growing a lot of our own fruit and veg, and most of the food we eat at home is either homemade or homegrown ... we're turning into Tom and Barbara from the Good Life!

I'm a classically trained singer (bass) who regularly performs in concerts and recitals. I've taken part in workshops, and appeared in several operas.

I recently qualified as a reflexologist.

I've been listening to jazz since the 1980s, and enjoyed 20 seconds of fame in November 2007 when I introduced a Kenny Dorham tune on Radio 3's Jazz Library programme! I've also been on local radio to talk about being green. I took along my copy of 'What's Going On' but they played Foreigner instead!
