- 'Monsieur GREG first studied plastic arts and learned to play several instruments (violon, keyboards, sax, drums...). Then he discovered electronic music in the middle of the 90s.
His work is very eclectic (electro, house, techno, jungle, reggae, afrobeat, latin, jazz, nu-soul, hip-hop ,r'n'b, experimental....). A true music lover, he finds his inspiration in the major musical styles of the XXth century: jazz, from Sarah Vaughan to Herbie Handcock, reggae, from Israel Vibration to Capleton, electronic music, from Derrick May to Matthew Herbert, hip hop, from De La Soul to Dizzee Rascal.
Monsieur GREG has teamed up with several artists : with Tag Masta, he becomes Ghoster and unleashes some goovy, dancefloor house music. He also works with underground french artist Loan, to produce a series of revolutionary hip hop tracks. His encounter with Nabyla, a soulful singer, gives birth to beautiful nu-soul and R'n'B songs. Last but not least, since 2004, Monsieur GREG has been collaborating with the greatest artists from Senegal: Sun Sooley's reggae albums, as well as several hip hop tracks with Da Brains (Dakar), Sikki Sakka (thies), Black G (Rak Tag Squad), Taf Taf (Noni None).'
Decembre 2007, my first EP called Broken Bop is distributed by BAGPAK BPSS.
2008 has been a wonderful collab year, with talented artists from all over the world : Andrew Jones aka Asher Dust, Big Kid, M's words, Vimster, Lamiela, DMD'z, Hybridjazz, Vicky Flint ...
with Asher Dust, the creation of "Style Syncretists", a musical collaborative project mixing nu jazz, broken beat, soul, afro, funk, nu-soul, reggae, tech house ...
I launch my MP3 shop on line, thanks to Ithinkmusic.
In this early 2009, many good news.
My video called 'GASMIK' has been officially selected for The Int'l Fest of Cinema and Technology .
I was honoured to participate at The Politik remix contest and have been chosen for the coming Politik Remixed.
Two remixes made for Hybridjazz released at Bagpak.
Some collabs with Loan soon come on her LP.

Style Syncretists
Style Syncretists is a musical collaborative project created by Monsieur Greg and Asher Dust . Monsieur Greg a Multi-instrumentalist, Producer and visual artist met up with vocalist, lyricist and beatmaker Asher on myspace.
Neither one are interested in sticking to any particualr genre and so far their musical colabs have created nu jazz, afro funk, nu-soul, reggae, tech house with more musical experiments to come.
