a couple of quick updates....

we've tweaked the fine print a little... "Remuneration will be paid to the remix producer for any remixes that are licensed to 3rd party licensees including but not limited to synchronisations for TV, film, video games and compilations"

and will be uploading some music parts january 10 - for those wanting more than the vocals and limited music parts already provided. more than likely none of the samples tho - if you want to use those, you gotta find them! ;)

a quick update.... originally only the vocal files and select music parts were available. now tho, the whole album is there - all the music parts (mainly rhodes, synths and basses) are now online except for drums and samples from two tracks... let the remixes begin! :)

Introducing 'the ULTIMATE CHALLENGE' .....The whole Politik album – from start to finish - remixed by Monsieur GREG !!!
Many thanks to Bembe Sengue and Mark de Clive-Lowe for setting up this awesome contest.
Now that I’ve been thru it, I realise how beneficial this experience has been for me from an artistic viewpoint. It’s kind of like I took part in the making of this fabulous LP, with two great talents of today’s music as private professors. To tell you the truth, I didn’t think I’d actually remix the whole album as I got started, but I soon found myself badly hooked.
Starting today, exclusive to CoopR8, I will be dropping a remix a day for your listening pleasure.
I will also add comments about the joys and pains i've been thru in the process.
And of course, I’d love to read your comments, remarks or suggestions.
Time to share some good vibes.
Have a Good listening :)

yeah! nuff remixes coming thru with the deadline looming. tomorrow is the cut off, we'll probably allow a day or so for latecomers, and all going well have some winners news for you 3 weeks later :)

it's been a great fun project to see happen and hearing everyone's reinterpretations. i'll try and get back to some producers directly with feedback, but it won't be possible with everyone.
